Road to $100 a month
Ever since trying Adsense, I’ve been hooked. It’s not exactly about the money: I honestly and hopefully don’t need this little extra income. Sure, it’s nice to think that a blog can pay for my daily coffee, my monthly nice restaurant for my husband and me, and my yearly hosting fees. But again, I’m lucky enough not to need these things I’ve paid myself up to now.
No, what I’ve been hooked in is the game. Adsense is a fun, challenging and rewarding game. It’s like earning points in a video game, except that, well, points here pay your daily caffeine :)
Maybe I’ll just drop Adsense any time later if the game starts to bore me. But as of writing now, I want to play, play more, and to play better. So to make things more interesting and challenging, I’ve given myself a goal : set up a brand new site, and reach $100 a month. No deadline : I would say “one year” but would think “6 months”, so I’ll just do my best and it will either happen or I’ll be bored before it does :)
